Netflix’s Jewish Matchmaking follows the success of Indian Matchmaking, and takes a similar deep dive into the cultures dating traditions. The series stars matchmaker Aleeza Ben Shalom and follows her as she doles out dating advice to her clientele and helps them along on their journey towards marriage.

This first season of Jewish Matchmaking is a real global affair, switching back and forth between Israel and the United States — and following singles from all corners of each country. From Los Angeles to New York City and from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv, Aleeza sees potential for matches everywhere.

Of course watching a Netflix dating show like Jewish Matchmaking is only half the fun. You’ll want to learn even more about the people highlighted on the show, including Aleeza. Below you’ll find information about Aleeza Ben Shalom and all of the singles featured in Season 1. As a bonus, we’ve even tried to figure out if any of the couples created on the show remain together to this day — but beware, because those could be considered spoilers.

Dani is a Miami girl who was born in the city but raised in the farmland of California. She’s super proud of her eyebrows and really wants to find a match with similar — but not better! — brows. Her other requirements for a husband are that he celebrate the High Holidays, be family oriented, and treat her like a queen.

Ori is based in Los Angeles and works for his mother’s event planning company, with a focus on weddings. He knows he’s a little picky, and that’s evidenced by him seeking an Israeli woman with blonde hair and blue eyes who lives in Los Angeles and speaks Hebrew. Also she needs to be family oriented.

  • Harmonie Krieger

Harmonie is 44 and describes herself as a bit of a magical unicorn because of her love of all things fun and sparkly. She’s looking for a man who values Jewish traditions, is spontaneous, wants a child, and is either younger or older than her.

  • Cindy Seni

Cindy is a content creator based in Israel who just got out of a pretty serious relationship. She’s ready to get back into the dating scene and she’s looking for a guy who observes Shabbat and keeps kosher. Also it would help if he’s not a diva and has abs, please.

  • Noah Dreyfus

Noah is an investment advisor who lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He’s very outdoorsy and seeks a similar woman. He keeps a kosher home and wants a wife who will keep the spirit of Shabbat — and it wouldn’t hurt if she also liked Phish a lot. Like, a lot a lot.

Fay is a 29-year-old entrepreneur who founded OKclarity, an app for mental health designed for the Orthodox Jewish community. She’s looking for a very devout man of good character who will pray three times a day with other men.

  • Nakysha

Nakysha is a 25-year-old Jewish person-of-color who is tired of people being surprised when she tells them about her faith. She’s turned to Aleeza to help her find a man who is not orthodox but is into the Shabbat meals. He also needs to be cool with her riding a motorcycle and owning a gun, and he should be fit and not bald.

  • Stuart Chaseman

Stuart is a 51-year-old Chicagoan who owns an advertising company but is really passionate about his music. He’s looking for a woman who is not religious but culturally Jewish (so she gets why Curb Your Enthusiasm is funny, he says), and she needs to be liberal (re: a Democrat).

  • Noah Del Monte

Noah is the 24-year-old son of a diplomat based in Tel Aviv. He wants to be married by the time he’s 30, and he’s looking for a wife who is adventurous, and loves dogs (and tigers, for some reason). He’s also looking for a woman who is fit and has that “European” look.

  • Are any of the couples from ‘Jewish Matchmaking’ still together?

    Courtesy of Netflix

Are Dani and Shaun still together? Dani starts dating Shaun (@shauncivin_) in Episode 3 once things start cooling off between her and David (@daviddbehar_). Shaun’s family comes from South Africa, he’s chill, he surfs, and he has killer eyebrows. Their biggest hurdle seems to be distance. Did they overcome that? That remains unclear, although Dani and Shaun do follow each other on Instagram and exchange the occasional like. Read into that what you will!

Are Ori and Karin still together? Aleeza manages to find Ori a date in Episode 4 that matches his super specific criteria — model looks, blue eyes, and fluency in Hebrew — and she’s also an attorney. The date goes well (although Karin isn’t thrilled with Ori’s love of bacon) but whether or not their story continued after the cameras stopped remains unclear. Looking at her Instagram, Karin’s been globetrotting for a while — but she and Ori do follow each other.

Are Harmonie and Ben still together? The third time is a charm for Harmonie — or, well, the third time isn’t a third strike. She goes on a date with Ben in Episode 4 where the two make floral arrangements and talk about their previous relationships. Ben is physically more what Harmonie is looking for and Ben seems to reciprocate the physical attraction. It’s unclear if the two went on a second date.

Are Noah and Ophir still together? Noah and Ophir hit it off so well on their date in Episode 6 that they were talking about kids. Ophir even pondered having a blended family with Ophir and his 13-year-old son. As for their current relationship status, it remains unclear. We do know that Noah moved from Wyoming to Denver, Colorado, so if he’s single, he’s at least in a brand new dating scene.

Are Nakysha and Evan still together? These two really hit it off during their date in the season finale, and Nakysha even got a peck on the cheek (see above). However, the pair’s instant connection doesn’t appear to have lasted as neither Nakysha nor Evan (@djmoose315) follow each other on Instagram.

Are Stuart and Pamela still together? Stuart’s second match with Pamela in Episode 8 went very well, with the two comedians (Pamela by trade, Stuart by disposition) making each other laugh. However, it doesn’t look like the two continued to cut up after filming wrapped, as Stuart and Pamela (@pamelacomedy) don’t appear to be in a relationship and don’t follow each other on Instagram

Are Noah and Tav still together? Noah matched with Tav (@tavgross) in the season finale and hit it off enough to justify a follow on Instagram. But is that follow just a follow? Does it mean something more? You’ll have to follow them on Instagram and see if any updates are dropped.
