The Boys has been upsetting stomachs with its near-unrelenting violence and gore since it first premiered on Prime Video in 2019. But we’re finally learning more about the brand new series that will give us an even deeper look into the Vought universe, with the same gory touch as its predecessor: Gen V.

The spin-off series just released a new poster, giving us another glimpse at the upcoming Prime Video show.

Gen V takes place at Godolkin University, the first college created specifically for superheroes. God U is, unsurprisingly, owned and run by Vought International, the corrupt company at the center of The Boys that employs superheroes to fight crime.

The R-rated series will follow these young Supes as they compete for the top contracts. The Wrap described the show as “part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire and raunch of The Boys.” The teaser trailer released in December reveals the show is just as bloody and vibrant as The Boys.

Prime Video just released a new poster and unveiled the official Godolkin University website for prospective students. “Welcome to Godolkin University, supers!” the Vought International Twitter account tweeted. “This National College Decision Day, we’re seeing record numbers of commitments and deposits to study with Golden Boy.”

The poster shows actor Patrick Schwarzenegger as Golden Boy.

The included link leads to God U’s official website, which boasts the same picture of Golden Boy, paired with select quotes from the Seven. “Everything changed when I went to Godolkin,” reads a quote from A-Train.

“Godolkin was dope,” The Deep says.

Other images on the site give us a glimpse of the campus, including a building deemed the School for Crimefighting and bronze statues for each of the Seven. It also shows actor Chance Perdomo, who you may recognize from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, modeling some of the school’s official merchandise. Perdomo will be playing the popular Supe Andre Anderson.

The fact that Anderson and Golden Boy are both featured on the website shows they’re high-status Supes at the school. And Vought is certainly known for playing favorites.

Though the Gen V release date has not yet been announced, the bottom of the God U website teases, “We look forward to seeing you this fall!”

That means we could have Gen V to hold us over as we wait for The Boys to return with Season 4. We don’t have a release date just yet for The Boys Season 4, but production officially wrapped in April. So, we may be looking at late 2023 or early 2024 release.

Gen V will be showrun by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, who are also executive producers on the show. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are also credited as executive producers.
