Fans of small-town dramas, rejoice! Sullivan’s Crossing, a new series inspired by bestselling author Robyn Carr’s books, is coming to The CW. And fans of popular shows like Virgin River, Gilmore Girls, and Hart of Dixie will definitely want to check it out.

Adapted for TV by Roma Roth and executive produced by Roth and Christopher E. Perry — the team behind Virgin RiverSullivan’s Crossing follows Boston neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan) as she returns to her childhood home to reunite with her estranged father Sully (Scott Patterson). While navigating an unexpected turn of events, Maggie attempts to reconnect with her past and meets the handsome yet irksome Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray) along the way.

If the series is giving Virgin River vibes, that’s because Carr is the author of both book series. Sullivan’s Crossing features several Virgin River actors, and it also notably reunites former CW and Gilmore Girls stars Chad Michael Murray and Scott Patterson. Huge news for Tristan Dugray and Luke Danes fans!
