The Real Housewives of New York City: Legacy series is not off the table after all! Instead, the highly anticipated rebranding of the Bravo reality show will take the form of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 5.

While there has been much buzz surrounding which RHONY alums could return to the (once doomed) Legacy show, Peacock confirmed today that Luann de Lesseps, Kelly Bensimon, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Kristen Taekman and Ramona Singer will all reunite for the trip.

It doesn’t sound too much like The Loser Show anymore, does it, Ramona?

In the upcoming season — which the streamer dubbed Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy — the former Housewives will head out to St. Barths, where they will stay at the infamous house on Saline Beach that was featured in Season 5 of RHONY.

While the Legacy series was originally planned as a standalone spinoff after Bravo decided to revamp RHONY with a completely new and more diverse cast, the network allegedly rescinded its offers for the reboot earlier this year as the talent felt they were being “lowballed” financially.

Shortly after it was reported that the spinoff would not happen, sources told E! News that it was simply “put on pause,” while Bravo boss Andy Cohen tweeted, “Don’t believe everything you read #RHONYLegacy.”

There does appear to be one person who didn’t get the memo about RHUGT Season 5 — and that’s Jill Zarin, who recently told Page Six that RHONY: Legacy “didn’t happen because it just wasn’t meant to happen.” The reality star — who appeared in RHUGT Season 2 and was reportedly in talks to join the Legacy series — added, “It has nothing to do with me. It has to do with the producers and what they decided to do.”

However, there likely won’t be much bad blood there, seeing as she said she’s “closed” that chapter of her life.

“I don’t miss it,” Zarin said. “I’m a big fan. I love watching it but that was a chapter of my life that’s closed and I’ve opened up a few new ones.”

While there is no release date for RHUGT Season 5, the first three seasons are currently streaming on Peacock.
