Rita Moreno revealed to The View co-hosts that she was rather flustered when she first met Chris “Ludacris” Bridges on the set of Fast X during this morning’s episode of the hit daytime talk show.

While filming the tenth film in the Fast and Furious franchise, the 91-year-old actress — who plays Abuela Toretto a.k.a Dom’s (Vin Diesel) grandmother in the movie — said it was “freezing cold out” when she filmed her scene, which she joked was “supposed” to be in her Los Angeles “backyard.”

Despite the chilly London weather, Moreno had a fond memory of meeting Ludacris for the first time. And how could you not? He’s a doll!

“I noticed that Chris was there. I thought, that can’t be him. And it was! I said, ‘Are you Chris?’ He said yes, and I said, ‘Hi, hello,’ and now we’ve become text buddies!” the West Side Story star recalled.

A small portion of us might instantly remember the rapper’s 2010 song “Sexting.” But I digress.

Ludacris, however, is not the only former co-star Moreno regularly keeps in touch with. The EGOT also said she shares a text chain with NFL player Marshawn Lynch, whom she met while filming 80 For Brady.

“I always get his name wrong, [Marshawn] Lynch, the football player, we’re text buddies also.  I met him on the 80 for Brady movie,” she told the panel.

The movie — which is inspired by a true story — follows Moreno, Jane Fonda, Sally Field and Lily Tomlin as they play lifelong Patriots fans who venture out to watch Tom Brady play in the 2017 Super Bowl.

“Picking up men everywhere you go. Just picking them up,” Whoopi Goldberg pointed out, while Moreno playfully quipped, “I like my Black boys.”

Goldberg added, “And they like you too!” before Sunny Hostin chimed in, “I do too.”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
