Anyone who’s ever said sports aren’t theatrical and dramatic never tuned into the NFL schedule release, which is over after two days of announcements. The matchups are finally set.

For the second year in a row, Amazon Prime Video is the exclusive broadcaster of the kickoff to the football weekend: Thursday Night Football, with the exclusion of week 1.

Week 1 of Thursday Night Football on September 7 kicks off the entire NFL Regular Season and will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock.

Prime Video is also bringing back the broadcast team from last season, which includes play-by-play announcer Al Michaels, color analyst Kirk Herbstreit, sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung, and rules analyst Terry McAulay.

Below, we’ve outlined everything you need to know to tune into Thursday Night Football every week so you never miss kickoff. Read on for that and this year’s schedule.

How To Watch Thursday Night Football:

Thursday Night Football is being broadcast exclusively on Prime Video this season.

What does that mean?

It means you’ll need to subscribe to Amazon Prime to watch football on a Thursday, with the exception of the NFL’s first-ever Black Friday Game, which will be broadcast on Prime Video for anyone, subscriber or not.

Amazon Prime costs $15/month or $139/year and comes with perks like Prime Video (and all of the live sports they air), free two-day shipping, exclusive deals, and more.

If the only thing that interests you is streaming, you can also sign up for Prime Video without any of the Amazon incentives for $9/month.

Both Prime and Prime Video standalone come with a 30-day free trial for new users.
