General Hospital actress Haley Pullos was arrested in April for driving under the influence after causing a serious head-on collision in Pasadena.

The actress recently announced that she was taking time away from the soap to recover from a car accident, but TMZ reports that she failed to mention that she caused the freeway accident in question.

According to the police report obtained by TMZ, Pullos, 24, caused a head-on collision on a Pasadena freeway after she flew over the barrier into oncoming traffic. Police also reported that she had been involved in a hit-and-run earlier that evening. Cops and firefighters rushed to the scene of the crash, where marijuana edibles and tequila were found inside of her car.

No fatalities were reported, though the other driver reportedly sustained major injuries.

Cops claimed that she became aggressive on two occasions following the crash. In one event, she struck a firefighter and shouted at him when he tried to check her injuries, saying, “This is a $400 fucking shirt!”

Pullos was arrested for driving under the influence while being treated at the hospital. Cops claimed she became aggressive with the hospital staff, so much so that they had to sedate her.

She showed “clear signs” of being under the influence, cops said, noting “the smell of alcohol on her breath, slurred speech, and watery eyes.”

Though she did not disclose the true nature of the accident when she shared that she would be taking a break from General Hospital, she did say she expected to be back as soon as possible.

Her role on the show has been recast for the time being. Holiday Mia Kriegel will be filling in for the actress as Molly Lansing-Davis.
