Leave it to Andy Cohen to get Jane Fonda to finally come clean about the director who inappropriately came onto her while she was starting out in her twenties.

During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Fonda fell victim to Cohen’s “Plead the Fifth” game, where he asked if there was anyone in Hollywood who tried and failed to pick her up.

Without much hesitation, Fonda named French filmmaker René Clément — who directed the 1964 thriller Joy House, in which she starred. He was 51 at the time, while she was only 27.

“He wanted to go to bed with me because he said the character had to have an orgasm in the movie and he needed to see what my orgasms were like,” she said, before going on to explain how she got out of the sticky situation. “He said it in French and I pretended I didn’t understand.”

While Fonda previously told the story to CNN, this is the first time she specifically named Clément as the perpetrator. The 85-year-old actress told a shocked Cohen, who was busy taking everything in, “I have stories for you kid, but we don’t have time.”

And she wasn’t kidding!

The Book Club: The Next Chapter star then followed up by telling the Bravo boss that she has seen both Michael Jackson and Greta Garbo in the nude. While she didn’t elaborate on the latter, Fonda did spill the tea about what exactly happened with the King of Pop.

“He came and visited me when we were filming Golden Pond and I had a cottage right on the lake. And it was a beautiful moonlit night,” she detailed, before claiming the “Billie Jean” singer had the idea to go skinny dipping.

Fonda added, “I think because he knew that he would die young and that I would talk about him.”
