The two-hour season finale of Grey’s airs later tonight (May 18) after the season finale of Station 19 on ABC. What can we expect from the final two episodes of the season? The big news is that Ellen Pompeo returns, forcing a reunion between Meredith and Nick, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The season finale of Grey’s Anatomy airs tonight (May 18) from 9:00-11:00 p.m. ET on ABC. The episode will be available for next-day streaming on Hulu and ABC.com.

IS GREY’S ANATOMY’S ENDING?

This show? Never! Okay, maybe not never, but the series will return for at least another season.

SO… GREY’S ANATOMY WAS RENEWED FOR SEASON 20?

You better believe it. Back in March, ABC renewed their long-running medical drama for a twentieth season. One more renewal and the series can legally drink alcohol!

WHEN WILL GREY’S ANATOMY SEASON 20 PREMIERE ON ABC?

Nobody knows. Sixteen of the last 18 seasons debuted in late September, with the only exceptions being Season 17 (delayed due to the pandemic) and Season 19 (debuted during the first week of October). The ongoing writers’ strike makes it impossible to predict a premiere date.

Under normal circumstances, we’d say Grey’s Anatomy Season 20 was likely to premiere in late September of 2023. But the return date is currently up in the air.
