Directed by Steven Caple Jr., Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is the seventh installment in the Transformers franchise and serves as a sequel to the iconic 2007 film. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this new flick!

Taking place in 1994, the science fiction action movie follows Noah (Anthony Ramos) — an ex-military electronics expert — and artifact researcher Elena (Dominique Fishback) as they help Optimus Prime and a new faction of Transformers called the Maximals (including one voiced by Pete Davidson) protect the planet from villain Unicron’s arrival.

UPDATE 8/2/23: Transformers: Rise of the Beasts officially became available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Amazon, Vudu, YouTube or Apple on Tuesday, July 11 — and will release on Blu-ray and DVD on Oct. 10.

Plus, it began exclusively streaming on Paramount+ on Tuesday, July 25.

WILL TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS BE ON MAX?

No, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will not be on Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. The platform — previously known as HBO Max — also no longer does direct-to-streaming releases. Instead, they’ve implemented a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the Max release.

No, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will not be on Netflix — at least not anytime soon, since it will go to Paramount+ after its theatrical run.
