Khloé Kardashian Says She Set “Boundaries” With Cheating Ex Tristan Thompson: “I Keep It Very Short and Sweet”

Khloé Kardashian is never ever getting back together with Tristan Thompson (like ever) — and this time, she means it!

In a new episode of The Kardashians titled “Everything is My Fault!”, Khloé dishes on where she stands with her cheating ex-boyfriend (and father of her two children) in a heart-to-heart with momager Kris Jenner.

“Tristan and I — we always get along great,” she says, while holding her son, Tatum. “Him and I have a great friendship relationship. We get along fine and for my kids, I will put anything to the side.”

Khloé continues, “What’s done is done, so what would I still be holding onto something for? I don’t need to punish him because I’m not getting back with him.”

Tristan was first caught cheating on Khloé in 2018 just days before she gave birth to their daughter, True. The following year — after he and the reality star had reconciled — he was caught kissing her sister Kylie Jenner‘s (now former) BFF, Jordyn Woods. Eventually, Khloé forgave Trisran and got back together with him again — but not long after they began the surrogacy process for their second baby, she was blindsided by the fact that he had gotten a one-night stand pregnant.

While the NBA star is often at Khloé’s house since she’d rather he be with their two children than a nanny, she explains that he’s only there when there are “kids involved.”

“These boundaries are so important to put into place with Tristan because we’ve done this song and dance a handful of times already,” she tells cameras in her confessional. “I’ve gotten back with him after a cheating scandal so I don’t know if Tristan is under the impression [of], ‘Oh, wow. OK. Let’s just ride this out and eventually, she’ll get back with me.'”

The Good American founder says she “gets why he would think that” but declares it her “job to set boundaries” so that her “actions show otherwise.”

“I keep it very short and sweet. And I make sure he knows it’s all about the kids. Because it’s so easy to fall back into, ‘Hey! Let’s watch a game,'” she says. “I can’t let those old habits just easily come into my life. It’s just not what I want.”
