Apple TV+‘s latest star-studded series The Crowded Room pushes Tom Holland to his limit. The Spider-Man star plays Danny Sullivan, an artistic loner who finds himself in hot water after his best friend Ariana (Sasha Lane) pulls him into a horrific public shooting incident. Ariana is AWOL, which means that Danny might take the blame for the crime. Only Rya (Amanda Seyfried) seems to believe that Danny’s might be innocent. Is he? Or is something more nefarious at play? The Crowded Room was created by Akiva Goldsman and inspired by Daniel Keyes’s landmark nonfiction work, The Minds of Billy Milligan. Through Rya’s various interviews with Danny, we see how the young man has just barely survived a life full of tragic trauma and brutal bullies. Danny’s lifelines has been his crew of loyal friends. There’s his tough, Israeli landlord Yitzak (Lior Raz), basketball all-star bestie Mike (Sam Vartholomeos), mercurial drug dealing pal Jonny (Levon Hawke), and the aforementioned Ariana. Could it be that this tight knit group of friends might actually be as good for Danny as they seem?

Apple TV+ originals technically premiere at 12 AM ET or 9 PM PT. However, Ted Lasso fans figured out that most episodes of the third season were being dropped at 9 PM ET (up until the finale). Given Apple TV+’s fast and loose approach to episodic rollout, we’d assume that The Crowded Room‘s first three episodes will premiere at midnight ET tonight, but feel free to check the app at 9 PM ET or 6 PM PT if you’re eager to watch.
