Directed by Eva Longoria, with a screenplay by Lewis Colick and Linda Yvette, Flamin’ Hot tells the supposedly true story of a Frito Lay janitor who invented the popular spicy snack known as Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Jesse Garcia stars as Richard Montañez, whose memoir—A Boy, a Burrito and a Cookie: From Janitor to Executive—is the basis of the movie. Even though there are some claims that Montañez was not, in fact, the inventor of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, it still makes for a great story, right?
