There are two kinds of people in this world: those who watch reality TV shows hoping for fights, and those who do not. If you’re in the former camp, you don’t need me to tell you who Joseline Hernandez is. The self-proclaimed Puerto Rican Princess made a name for herself on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta where she secretly married music producer Stevie J and flaunted said marriage to Stevie’s girlfriend of over a decade, Mimi Faust. She viciously fought, uh, most of the cast of the show, and eventually left because of her explosive behavior and often problematic ability to say whatever she wants to whoever she wants. Her volatility and candor make for great TV though, and they’re exactly why she was involved in an altercation on the BET+ reality show College Hill: Celebrity Edition so intense that the network wouldn’t air it.

The fight took place between Hernandez and Amber Rose, who are both starring on the current season of the show which places a group of celebrities (this season also stars Ray J, Tiffany “New York” Pollard, O’Ryan, Kwaylon “Kway” Rogers, Iman Shumpert, and Parker McKenna) in a communal house on the campus of a historically Black college and attending classes there. This season takes place at Alabama State University.

During a conversation about racial identity in the episode that aired this week, Rose, who is biracial, took offense at comments that Joseline made in reference to her. During the increasingly argumentative conversation, Joseline told Rose, “You know what your problem is? Your problem is that you really wanna be a white girl.”

Joseline doubled down, repeating, “Your problem is that you really don’t want to be Black.”

Rose appeared to get up from her seat and approach Joseline, at which point Joseline taunted her saying, “There she go, cry baby, cry baby, cry baby.”

Then Rose appeared to pull her hand back to slap Joseline and the screen cut to black and read, “Out of respect for all parties involved, we have chosen not to show this fight. College Hill and ASU do not condone violence of any kind.”

The rest of the cast appeared stunned by the fight, and after it was over, Rose was informed that she would be removed from the communal home the cast shared for getting physical.

There are two more episodes left of this season of College Hill: Celebrity Edition – plenty of time for these two to make up before they… graduate.
