Stunning ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Report Suggests Vanna White Feels “Forced” Chemistry With New Co-Host Ryan Seacrest — And May Even Quit Early
With the news that Pat Sajak will be retiring as the host of Wheel of Fortune after next season, the opportunity to watch a live taping of the show — or even be a contestant on it — with the original prime-time lineup of Sajak and Vanna White will come to an end soon.
The good news is, the show is only in Season 40 now, so we still have the remainder of the current run, plus next season, to soak up all the Sajak we can get.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch a live taping of the show during the upcoming season, and how else you can experience Wheel live and in-person.
Where is Wheel of Fortune Filmed?
Most episodes of Wheel of Fortune are taped in front of a live studio audience at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA. In addition to Wheel of Fortune, other game shows filmed at Sony include Jeopardy! and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? as well as shows like The Goldbergs and Insecure.
How Can You Get Tickets to A Taping Of Wheel of Fortune?
Traditionally, Wheel of Fortune fans have been able to request tickets to watch a live taping of the show on the Wheel of Fortune website. Currently, the site states that shows are being filmed without an audience, however, you can sign up to be alerted once tickets are available again.

If you’ve always dreamed of playing Wheel and you’ve never gotten a chance to in real life, the good news is that you can purchase tickets to Wheel of Fortune Live!, a traveling stage show that features a hands-on experience so that fans can play Wheel for real to get a taste of what it’s like to be a contestant on the show, spin the wheel, buy vowels and even win prizes.
While it’s a definite thrill to be able to spin the big wheel, the main caveats to the touring show are that Pat and Vanna are not a part of the live experience and it is not broadcast on TV.
