‘Queen of the Universe’ Judges Visibly Moved by Kesha Ballad in Exclusive Clip

Queen of the Universe has been serving in its second season. The Paramount+ original series has leveled up its already considerable game, giving us bigger drag, bigger spectacle, bigger moments, and — as seen in this exclusive clip from this week’s episode — bigger ballads.

This sneak peek at Episode 4 focuses on Mexican drag superstar Taiga Brava, who belts out her take on Ke$ha’s power ballad “Praying.” This number really ticks all the boxes and is a primo example of what the queens are serving in Season 2 of the drag queen singing competition.

Without knowing how the rest of the episode plays out, this looks like it could be Taiga Brava’s big breakout moment. Not only is her vocal a slay, but that look is devilishly good and the accompanying set piece — that runway of rose petals, those dancers — will leave you speechless. Of course all of the queens are powerhouse vocalists, so who knows what Taiga’s competing against this week.

One thing’s for sure, though: the judges are feeling it. In the clip, you can see Trixie Mattel, Michelle Visage, and yes, even Mel B being visibly moved by those notes. Thank god Taiga didn’t try to sing “Someone Like You”!
