Bam Margera has bailed from the detox center he was admitted to earlier this month and has been telling friends he’s heading to Las Vegas for the weekend.
The former Jackass star had been detoxing in San Diego at a place Lamar Odom helped him get in, however Bam didn’t want to complete the program and left on Monday.
According to TMZ, Lamar was desperately trying to convince Bam to return to the detox center then finish treatment at Odom Wellness Treatment Centers.
Odom was instead only able to convince him to stay at his Calabasas home this week, where he continued to encourage Bam to continue rehabilitating.
Lamar couldn’t get through to Bam, who left the former NBA player’s home on Thursday and has since been telling friends he’s planning a weekend trip to Las Vegas.
Bam went to dinner with a friend at Nobu in Malibu on Thursday, soon after he left Lamar’s house, but it’s unclear who is joining him on his Vegas trip.
The skateboarder and former Viva La Bam star had checked in to detox on June 7 after cops put him on a 5150 psychiatric hold following a video rant where he threatened to smoke crack until he died unless he saw his five-year-old son, Phoenix.
Bam’s estranged wife Nicole Boyd recently allowed him to interact with Phoenix on FaceTime calls, but unfortunately it isn’t looking like that will happen again anytime soon.
