It’s officially the end of an era. Following today’s Season 51 finale of The Price is Right, the long-running game show will move out of the historic Bob Barker Studios, where it has filmed for more than half a century, per CBS News.

The Television City studio in Los Angeles was renamed in 1998 in honor of the original Price is Right host Bob Barker, who stayed on the show from its inception in 1972 until his retirement in 2007.

To commemorate the iconic series’ final taping in the studio before it moves to a “state-of-the-art” facility at Haven Studios in Glendale, Calif., contestants played classics such as “Grand Game” and “The Money Game.” One even got to play “Any Game,” which was the first game ever played on the show back in the early ’70s.

“I’ll miss… the sense of history,” current host Drew Carey told CBS. “When I come in here it’s just always felt like a nice, comfortable shoe.”

He added, “The fact that I’m here and I’m the last one to host this Price is Right here, and they’re trusting me to move it along and start the whole stage again, I feel pretty good about that, a pretty good honor.”

Other beloved series such as The Carol Burnett Show and The Jack Benny Program have also contributed to the sense of history at Bob Barker Studios.

“I used to tell people there was magic in the wood here because of all the good vibes that have been in this studio,” Carey said in an Instagram video. “All the laughs and all the fun that have been here. Now we gotta go and start a new place and put our own good vibes into that new place.”

He continued, “I am blessed by being able to walk the same stage that people like Bob Barker and Carol Burnett have walked on. Honestly, it’s a real blessing in my life. Like, I always am grateful and thankful that I have this opportunity to have a job like this.”

The news of the game show’s relocation was first announced in March, about four years after Hackman Capital Partners bought Television City from CBS Corp., per Deadline. According to the outlet, the real estate investment company was planning a $1.25 billion renovation at the landmark studio.

“In light of Hackman Capital Partners’ plans to undergo a major renovation at Television City, the time has come to move television’s longest-running game show, The Price Is Right, into a new home,” Suzanne Lopez, COO of Fremantle, said in a statement to Deadline at the time.

She continued, “While we bid a fond farewell to this cultural landmark, we are excited to say that we will be moving into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility at Haven Studios. We can’t wait to have our fans ‘Come On Down’ to this new facility when we begin production on the next season this summer.”

The Price is Right will return for Season 52 in September.
