The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have “separated” after 27 years of marriage, People reports.

“Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof,” a source close to the couple said. “They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”

The couple has been plagued with divorce rumors since Richards was spotted out without her wedding ring in February.

Umansky formally addressed the rumors that their marriage was on the rocks during a recent appearance on Two Ts In A Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge.

“We’re not getting divorced,” the real estate broker said. “I mean, it’s so dumb. That one stupid story that came out there, and then the girls all, you know, decided to talk about it on the Housewives, and so now it’s a storyline.”

Richards similarly claimed that they were “unbothered” by the rumors. “When this stuff would come up before, I would like, cry and I was devastated,” Richards told Page Six. “But now, I’m more like, ‘OK, I’ve done this before. Let’s do this. Bring it on. Come on. Let’s see what you got for me here.’”

Richards even paid tribute to Umansky in a social media post this past Father’s Day. “Happy Father’s Day [Mauricio,] so grateful that our girls have such an incredible Dad,” she wrote. “They would definitely agree you get the best Dad award.”

The couple has been a staple on the Real Housewives series since it premiered in 2010. Umansky even earned his own spin-off series, Buying Beverly Hills, in 2022 which focuses on his real estate business The Agency.

The couple have been married since 1996 and share three daughters. Umansky is also a step-father to Richards’ first daughter Farrah Brittany, who she welcomed with her first husband. Brittany works with Umansky as a real estate agent at The Agency.

Umansky mentioned during his podcast appearance that fans should expect to learn more about the divorce rumors in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which has already begun filming.

A release date has not been announced yet but signs are pointing to November.
