Who Plays Skye on ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ Season 2? Elsie Fisher Is Conrad And Jeremiah’s Cousin

The Summer I Turned Pretty is back, but things down at Cousins Beach will never be the same.

In Season 2 of Prime Video‘s hit YA series — based on Jenny Han’s popular romance novels — one beloved character is gone, and several new faces are introduced, including Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah’s (Gavin Casalegno) non-binary cousin, Skye.

Spoilers for The Summer I Turned Pretty‘s first three episodes ahead.

Played by Elsie Fisher, Skye first appears in TSITP Season 2, Episode 3, “Love Sick,” alongside their mom Julia (Kyra Sedgwick). We learn it’s been a month since Susannah’s (Rachel Blanchard) death, and though her estranged sister Julia didn’t attend her funeral, she shows up with a devastating plan to sell the family beach house.

Since Susannah loved the Cousins house and Conrad, Jer, and Belly’s (Lola Tung) memories of her are so intertwined with the property, they race to change Aunt Julia’s mind and grow closer to Skye along the way. As the cousins bond in Cousins, we learn more about Skye and Julia’s place in the family and why the beach house is such a sore subject for Aunt Julia.

But since Skye is such a major addition to TSITP‘s Season 2 cast, we figured we should all learn more about Elsie Fisher, the actor who plays them, too!

Who Plays Skye on The Summer I Turned Pretty? Meet Elsie Fisher

As noted, actor Elsie Fisher plays Skye in The Summer I Turned Pretty. The 20-year-old is best known for a starring role in Bo Burnham’s Eighth Grade, but per IMDb, Fisher has been acting since an appearance on Medium in 2009.

In the years since, Fisher has starred in (and done voice work for) a number of television series and films, including the Despicable Me movies, Mike & Molly, Raising Hope, The Addams Family (2019), Castle Rock, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022). Before The Summer I Turned Pretty, Fisher played Katie Harris in Season 3 of HBO’s prestige dark comedy Barry.

Ahead of TSITP‘s Season 2 premiere on June 14, Fisher shared several behind-the-scenes photos to Instagram and wrote, “thank you so much to everyone on the cast and crew for making me not only feel welcome but a part of the family. Really such an indescribable pleasure to know these folks and an even greater one to work with them. I hope you all like skye once you meet them (if not…too bad! I sure love them! Plus we already shot all the stuff so sorry!)”
