CBS has updated its 2023 fall schedule to include more reality shows and programming from the Paramount Network and Paramount+ in light of the recent strikes that have put a halt on most Hollywood productions.

The most notable change is that the hit Peacock series Yellowstone will be making its broadcast debut for the very first time. The show will launch on Sundays evenings starting with reruns from Season 1, Deadline reports.

Yellowstone is already confirmed to end with Season 5, though a release date has not been shared.

The network’s original fall schedule, which was released in May, included some original scripted programming and reruns. But, SAG-AFTRA joining the writers at the picket line has thrown a wrench in their expectations for the fall.

Instead of focusing on original scripted programming, CBS is shifting gears to bring more programs from streaming services to linear television.

CBS will be bringing back SEAL Team, which originally ran on the network for four seasons before airing its fifth season on Paramount+. The series has since been renewed for a sixth and seventh season.

It will also be airing the British original series Ghosts, which the CBS series that streams on Paramount+ was based on. The U.S. and U.K. versions will air back-to-back on Thursday evenings right before SEAL Team.

Reruns of Blue Bloods are also set to air on Fridays, alongside The Price is Right and Let’s Make A Deal Primetime.

As Variety reports, CBS is not the only network to utilize programming from other networks and streamers within their company. ABC is also set to air Ms. Marvel on broadcast for the very first time after it debuted on Disney+ in 2022.

For now, fans of the series will get a chance to catch up from the very beginning until we get more news on Yellowstone Season 5.
