While Anji Nyquist won July 5’s round of Jeopardy!, her victory unfortunately came with some uncomfortable attention for her looks on social media.

According to The Sun, it all went down when Nyquist took to Instagram to hold a live Q&A after her appearance on the show.

“I did an ‘ask me anything,’ and there were a lot of people who asked, ‘Would you do an OnlyFans? It would be really popular,'” she told the outlet.

While she deemed the request “flattering” but “not [her] style,” she concluded that when connecting with the public after a moment of fame, “you’re gonna get some nice people, and you’re gonna get some creeps.”

Very true, Anji.

“I have been getting DMs from random men,” she continued. “Most of it’s just nice, ‘You’re so beautiful, you’re the hottest contestant ever,’ which is so dumb.”

Outside of this freaky flattery, Nyquist, who calls Minneapolis home, received more desired positive attention from her fellow Minnesota Timberwolves fans after revealing on the show that she named her cat NAZ REID (in all caps) after the underrated Timberwolves center.

She described this phenomenon as “the most fun part” of being on the show.

“We filmed [the episode] in May, and Naz Reid just signed a big contract, so there was a lot of Naz Reid news the week my episode aired,” she explained to The Sun.

Long before her Jeopardy! victory, Nyquist held a special place in her heart for the game show, as she reflected on watching it with her father while he struggled with dementia.

“We would watch together and it was when James Holzhauer was on his run,” she said, referencing his 32-game winning streak that ended in June 2019 and led him to a victory on Jeopardy Masters. “My dad would do the ‘all in’ motion with James, and he would cheer when he got them right so that’s a special memory for me.”

She also referred to co-host Ken Jennings as “a hero of [hers].”

Jeopardy! airs on weeknights at 7/6c on ABC.
