Vanna White is halfway there. According to a new report from TMZ, the model has negotiated a well-deserved raise for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune; however, her pay for Wheel of Fortune is still up in the air.

As previously reported, White is asking for 50% of longtime host Pat Sajak‘s salary. While Sony hasn’t publicly disclosed Sajak’s salary for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, he was projected to be raking in just over $400,000 per episode. White ultimately settled for $100,000 an episode on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune — which sources tell TMZ is a “meaningful bump” from her previous contract.

Still, Sony is allegedly not receptive to the television personality’s demands when it comes to Wheel of Fortune. Sajak, who announced his impending retirement from the show earlier this year, is currently making $15 million a year, while White only makes $3 million a year. It was also reported that his successor, Ryan Seacrest, could make up to $28 million per year.

Meanwhile, White, who helped Sajak put the game show on the map when she joined in 1982, reportedly hasn’t gotten a raise in 18 years.

Apparently, Sony shut down the idea to have a third party evaluate the importance of Sajak and White’s roles to help come up with a “fair figure,” per TMZ. The company allegedly believes Sajak was getting paid too much by the end of his tenure; thus turning them away from using his salary as a comparison.

Sources close to star warned that things are going to “get ugly” if Sony doesn’t “get more serious.”

It could be a long time before we know what’s to come for White’s salary. Aside from negotiations halting because of the WGA strike, the game-show hostess also has another year left of her Wheel of Fortune contract — unlike her Celebrity Wheel of Fortune deal, which was up for renewal.

Although, Sony may want to rethink their stance on White’s requests. According to a previous TMZ report, she is willing to leave the show altogether if she’s not offered “a minimum of what is fair.”

“After 41 years as a model employee and more the face of that show than him [Pat], asking for 50% of what he makes seems like a no-brainer,” a source previously told the outlet, while another added, “She feels like it’s a statement for all women.”
