It looks like Jamie Foxx is well on his way to recovery. The actor and entertainer shared a new update on social media this week, decked out in a tuxedo in Las Vegas.

Foxx shared the photo on Instagram as part of a paid partnership with the sports betting venture BetMGM. “Thankful for my @betmgm family and a great few nights in Vegas,” Foxx wrote in the caption. “We got BIG things coming soon.”

Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, also shared a photo with her father celebrating “year 4 with @betmgm.”

“So proud of you always dad,” she wrote.

This update comes three months after Corinne first announced that Jamie had been hospitalized due to a “medical complication” back in April. The nature of his medical emergency or hospitalization has not been publicly revealed, but it appears the actor has been recovering in Chicago where he was recently spotted in public for the first time in months.

Jamie has largely kept his recovery private, but his family and close friends have been sharing encouraging updates on his health.

Back in May, just a month after Jamie was hospitalized, Corinne shut down rumors about his health and stated that her father had already been “out of the hospital for weeks.”

“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,” she shared on social media at the time. “In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support.”

We’re not sure which “big things” he may be talking about in his new update, but the actor has already announced a few projects he has coming up, much to the relief of fans waiting for his comeback. He will be teaming back up with Corinne to host a new musical competition show titled We Are Family that is set to premiere on FOX in 2024.

He has also been more active on social media lately as he promotes his new movie, They Cloned Tyrone, though the comments are flooded with conspiracy theorists claiming he had been cloned or someone else was controlling his account.

“They didn’t clone me but THEY CLONED TYRONE,” Jamie wrote in a social media post shared on July 12. Does that also count as an update on his health?

They Cloned Tyrone is now streaming on Netflix.
