Lionel Messi Makes His MLS Inter Miami Soccer Debut on Apple TV+: How to Live Stream Inter Miami vs. Cruz Azul

Soccer legend Lionel Messi is taking his career stateside. The star athlete will be making his debut in the United States with Inter Miami CF today. The match will kick off the 2023 Leagues Cup, in which 47 clubs from Major League Soccer and LIGA MX will be competing in a monthlong tournament.

It was announced just last week that the international athlete will be signing with Inter Miami CF. Per CNN, team co-owner David Beckham called his signing a “dream come true.”

“This is a fantastic opportunity and together we will continue to build this beautiful project,” Messi said. “The idea is to work together to achieve the objectives we set, and I’m very eager to start helping here in my new home.”

Messi’s contract with Inter Miami CF will last through the 2025 season. On top of the $40 million to $50 million he will be making on the team, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner reportedly negotiated an ownership stake in the team and a revenue-sharing deal with MLS and Apple TV+. Pretty impressive, if you ask us!
