Yellowstone will once again return to the small screen… but it’s going to be in rerun form.
Earlier this week, CBS released its schedule for the upcoming fall season, which includes a bevy of reality shows, a few Paramount+ programs, and… you guessed it… Yellowstone! The network will air reruns of the immensely popular Western drama on Sunday nights, beginning with Season 1. These reruns will most likely be edited since Yellowstone has its fair share of adult content (profanity, nudity, etc).
Just a reminder that episodes of Paramount+’s 1883 are currently airing Sunday nights on Paramount Network, with the seventh episode of the series debuting tonight (July 23) at 8:00 p.m. ET. When exactly does Yellowstone return with new episodes? Here’s everything we know.
Is Yellowstone on Tonight (July 23)?
No. Paramount Network is, however, airing the seventh episode of the Yellowstone prequel 1883 at 8:00 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. ET.
You can also watch the first episode of Taylor Sheridan’s new Paramount+ series, Special Ops: Lioness, at 9:15 p.m. ET on Paramount Network.
Is Yellowstone on Paramount+?
Nope. The series isn’t streaming on Paramount+.

The first five seasons of Yellowstone are available to stream on Peacock Premium. You can also watch select Season 5 episodes on-demand via the Paramount Network website, fuboTV, Sling TV (the $6/month “Comedy Extra” add-on), Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, Philo, or DIRECTV STREAM.

When Does Yellowstone Return With New Episodes?
Nobody knows! The final six episodes of Season 5 were originally scheduled to debut this summer. Back in May, Deadline reported that Paramount Network was eyeing a November 2023 release date.
Due to the writers’ strike and ongoing behind-the-scenes turmoil, that date always seemed aspirational at best, with The Hollywood Reporter even noting back in June that a November 2023 return seemed “highly unlikely.” That date appears even less likely when you factor in the SAG-AFTRA strike.
The situation remains in flux, but, sadly, we don’t expect new episodes of Yellowstone anytime soon.
