Kelly Ripa Thirsts Over “Utterly Charming” David Beckham on ‘Live’, Says She Sat Next to Him at a SoulCycle Class: “I Held My Sweat Inside of Myself”

Lionel Messi scored two goals for Inter Miami last night? Cool. Smoke-show David Beckham co-owns the team? Now you’ve got Kelly Ripa‘s attention.

During this morning’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Ripa hilariously thirsted over the former soccer champ — because, like, how could you not? Plus, she proved she was living all of our dreams as she recalled the time she found herself sitting right next to him at a Los Angeles SoulCycle class.

“I walk into a SoulCycle like it’s a regular SoulCycle class because it’s SoulCycle. There’s one on every corner,” she began. “But out there, in Hollywood, swimming pools, movie stars, I walk into SoulCycle class and it is a who’s who of famous people … I get my bike, clip in — who clips in next to me? David Beckham.”

The longtime Live host described Beckham to her husband Mark Consuelos as “utterly charming” and “totally kind,” before joking that she “read his body the whole class”  — referring to his abundance of tattoos.

“I held my sweat inside of myself,” she admitted. “I don’t know where it went to this day. I’m sure I had some sort of a shutdown, like, a renal failure from holding the moisture inside my body because I did not want David Beckham to see me sweat.”

She added, “I held it in. I didn’t even know that was possible.”

While Consuelos noted that his wife came back from the class “very excited,” he confessed that he, too, was “very excited.” According to Ripa, the Riverdale alum wanted to know everything from what Beckham was wearing to whether he was good at SoulCycle. However, he jokingly corrected her on one of her points.

“I didn’t say, ‘What is he wearing?’ I said, ‘Did he ask about me?’” Consuelos cheekily quipped.

It looks like this married couple will be booking their flights to Miami any day now!
