Futurama has had a rocky history on television. The show aired on Fox and Comedy Central before being canceled by both networks. And now, a decade later, has a new home on Hulu! However, some people are tuning in via Disney+. So, what’s going on? Can you actually watch Futurama on Disney+?

Season 11 of the beloved animated series by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen, which follows the intergalactic adventures of a lazy delivery driver who cryogenically preserved himself for 1000 years, began airing the first of its 10 new episodes on July 24, 2023. The season will continue to air Mondays until September 25, 2023.

Decider’s Joel Keller was impressed with the new season, writing in his review, “No matter how many times Futurama comes back from the dead — and this feels like the fourth time it’s done that — it always comes back as if nothing really has changed. And that’s the great thing about the Matt Groening and David X. Cohen’s series.”

The streamer costs £7.99/month or £79.90/year in the UK.

Disney+ is available in more than 60 countries, including Australia, Canada, South Africa, Israel, France, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, and Italy, though prices vary among the countries.

According to What’s On Disney Plus, Futurama Season 11 will air on Star+ in Latin America.

So, Will Futurama Season 11 Be on Disney+ in the US?

Most likely, Futurama will not be on Disney+ in the US, as it’s currently a Hulu exclusive. However, given both are majority owned by Disney, we’ve seen some Disney+ shows stream on Hulu; and some Hulu shows stream on Disney+. Never say never, but Futurama is not currently streaming on Disney+ in the US.
