As the catchy Southern Charm theme song says, “He’s got more honeys than any honeybee.” After Real Housewives of New York City newbie Brynn Whitfield admitted to having “a little crushy-crush” on Shep Rose, she revealed that the Southern Charm star has officially slid into her DMs.

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live in July alongside the rest of the new RHONY cast, Whitfield told host Andy Cohen that she secretly thought Rose — known as a forever-bachelor — was “cute.” She added that it “takes one commitment-phobe to know another commitment-phobe.”

The conversation re-emerged on Sunday night’s (Aug. 6) episode of WWHL, when Cohen asked if she had heard any word from the Charleston native — and, for once, the former PR consultant had “no comment.”

“He told me he was gonna DM you,” Cohen said, to which Whitfield confessed, “He did. He’s very sweet. He’s very smart. Very sweet. It’s all PG. It’s about, like, philosophy and dogs.”

Rose came up again during a game of “Swipe Right or Call it a Night,” in which Cohen asked Whitfield which male Bravolebrities she’d swipe right or left on. While she quickly swiped right for Below Deck Down Under‘s Captain Jason Chambers and Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard star Amir Lancaster, the same couldn’t have been said about her crush’s Southern Charm co-stars.

After sending Austen Kroll and Whitney Sudler-Smith to the reject pile, Whitfield joked, “I’m committed to Shep.”

But is Rose committed to her? The Southern Charm player is well-known for his rotating door of women since the show began in 2014. He most recently dated Taylor Ann Green for more than two years until their July 2022 breakup, which was reportedly due to his “issue with monogamy.”

Luckily for Whitfield, Rose is not afraid to get down with fellow Bravolebrities. Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay recently opened up about the “little fling” she had with Rose. She recalled their “drunken makeout” at a wedding back in 2018, which she referred to as “so sloppy.”

Still, the “Good as Gold” singer called Rose a “sweetheart” and “one of the funniest people” — so Whitfield may just be in luck!

Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
