The Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow says “Ozempic shaming” needs to stop, defending celebrities who use the popular diabetes medication to lose weight.

When asked by TMZ how she feels about Bravo star Jeff Lewis calling RHOBH star Kyle Richards a “lesbian on Ozempic,” Heather went on a rant about the drug.

She says someone’s private medical information should not be discussed publicly and that she’s all for whatever anyone needs to do to feel good about themselves.

“You wouldn’t ask someone what kind of heart medication they’re on or if they’re on cholesterol medication,” said Heather. “Why are people asking who’s on Ozempic?”

As the drug becomes increasingly popular in Hollywood, celebrities including Jillian Michaels and Botched star Dr. Terry Dubrow (Heather’s husband), have warned the public about some of its side effects.

Heather, however, thinks Ozempic is the next Botox, comparing the current hysteria to the early days of Botox. While Heather didn’t say that she’s ever taken Ozempic, she shared that she has used Botox before even when it was taboo.

“Now look at Botox, I can point to four street corners you can get Botox,” she said. “I guarantee you Ozempic will be the same way.”
