Todd and Julie Chrisley may be enduring reportedly “terrible” prison sentences for tax fraud, but their family isn’t shying away from the spotlight, despite the scandal. Deadline reports that some Chrisley family members are set to star in their own reality show, sans Todd or Julie.

Chase Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley, Grayson Chrisley, Chloe Chrisley and Nanny Faye Chrisley are reportedly planning to star in a reality series from Scout Productions, the company behind Queer Eye.

According to Deadline, the show is currently in development and does not yet have a broadcast home, but “will see the kids and Todd Chrisley’s mother pick up their lives after their parents were locked up.”

Savannah, Todd and Julie’s 26-year-old daughter, said that she and her family are pleased to return to TV, per Deadline.

“The time was right to share our story and we couldn’t have found better partners in Scout Productions. Their ability to balance popular culture and empathy through authentic storytelling is unrivaled and I know they’re going to find the right home for this next chapter of our lives,” she said. “We’re so happy to be back.”

The news of the Chrisleys’ latest spinoff show comes after USA Network, which aired Chrisley Knows Best and Growing Up Chrisley, canceled both shows after Todd and Julie received their respective prison sentences for bank fraud and tax evasion in November 2022; Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison while his wife, Julie, was sentenced to seven.

The pair reported to prison in January and have been having a rough go of it since. Jay Surgent, Todd’s attorney, told TMZ in July that his client is being “treated differently” than other inmates at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida because of his “celebrity status.” Julie, who is being held at the Federal Correctional Institution Marianna in Kentucky, is also suffering “terrible” conditions, Surgent told the outlet.

Savannah and Chase, the couple’s 27-year-old son, lamented their parents’ prison conditions that same month.

“It’s a nightmare,” Chase said on an episode of Savannah’s Unlocked w/ Savannah Chrisley podcast, per CNN. “Now they both have no air conditioning. They’re both in states where it gets to be 100+ degrees, and there’s no air conditioning.”
