Tonight, August 16, the New York Yankees will take on the Atlanta Braves for the third of just three match ups during the 2023 season.

The Yankees dropped the first game in the series 11-3 and came up short again in yesterday’s second game, which ended in a 5-0 final score.

The series comes just a week after the Braves took a four game series against the Yankees’ crosstown rival, the New York Mets, scoring a combined 40 runs to the Mets’ 10 over the four games.

In short: the 77-42 Braves can’t be stopped right now.

Tonight’s matchup is airing exclusively on Prime Video for Prime subscribers in New York State, Connecticut, north and central New Jersey, and northeast Pennsylvania as part of an agreement with the streamer.

Despite the game not being aired on the team’s typical YES Network, the Yankees’ play-by-play announcer of 32 years, Michael Kay, will be behind the mic.
