No, The View was not canceled. Every year, the ladies take off at the end of August for their scheduled summer hiatus — meaning new episodes won’t air today or for the next few weeks. In place of the live broadcast, reruns of previous episodes will air on ABC.

When does The View return?

The co-hosts are set to return to The View for Season 27 after Labor Day. Since the rerun lineup is scheduled through Monday, Sept. 4, they should be back with new material the following day on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
