Can you believe we’re a little over two weeks away from Labor Day? Summer, we hardly knew thee. While Yellowstone fans continue to wait for new episodes, Paramount Network decided to make it the “summer of 1883” by airing episodes of Paramount+’s popular Yellowstone prequel on Sunday nights. But all good must things must come to an end.

Last week (August 13), Paramount Network aired the series finale of 1883. While it’s possible the network airs additional Paramount+ shows in the future (more on that below), the only place you can currently stream Taylor Sheridan’s quintet of shows (1883, 1923, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and Special Ops: Lioness) is Paramount+.

Here’s how to watch 1883 and 1923 online.

Is 1883 Airing On Paramount Network Tonight?

Nope. The summer of 1883 has concluded. The series finale aired last week (August 13) on the network. Tonight’s Paramount Network schedule is nothing but Bar Rescue, with the series airing reruns from 7:00-4:00 a.m.

Due to ongoing writers’/actors’ strikes and the success of the network airing episodes of 1883 on Sunday nights, we wouldn’t be surprised if additional Paramount+ shows eventually aired weekly on Paramount Network, with Taylor Sheridan programs 1923, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and Special Ops: Lioness being the most likely candidates.

To be clear, that’s just speculation. We haven’t officially heard anything about those shows airing on Paramount Network. But it would make a ton of sense.

How Many Episodes Are There Of 1883?

The series consists of ten episodes.

Will There Be A Season 2 Of 1883?

Nope. There are currently no plans for a second season of 1883 — but additional Yellowstone spinoffs seem likely. During a June 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Taylor Sheridan revealed that he’s planning “several more Yellowstone prequels,” which have yet to be announced.
