After a speedy season filled with chaotic time changes, a record-breaking kiss, a stylish villain, a shocking goodbye, a surprise hello, and a dramatic “Men Tell All” special, Charity Lawson’s journey to find love on The Bachelorette has officially come to an end.

The eventful Season 20 finale, which premiered on ABC Monday, August 21, saw Charity hosting a rose ceremony in Fiji for her final three guys, introducing two men to her family, and struggling to decide who to send home. With nerves, doubts, and stakes higher than ever before, her final days in Fiji were full of crucial conversations, tough love from mom, romantic gestures, intense introspection, and serious heartbreak. But in the end, the pain was all worth it…right?

Curious what went down in The Bachelorette Season 20 finale? Wondering if Charity got engaged to Aaron Bryant, Joey Graziadei, or Dotun Olubeko? And if so, are Charity and her fiancé still together? Want to know how the “After The Final Rose” special played out? And if Reality Steve’s finale predictions were correct? We’ve got all the answers below.

The Bachelorette Finale Rose Ceremony Recap: Goodbye (Again) Aaron B.

After Aaron Bryant’s post-Hometown Date elimination, he flew all the way to Fiji in hopes of winning Charity back. Fresh off her emotional breakup with Xavier, she was shocked — in a good way! — to see him at her hotel. And in Season 20, Episode 9, the two reconnected on the beach, and reflecting on their first date, Charity explained Aaron was the first person she envisioned as her husband. She felt she owed it to both of them to give their relationship more time, so she invited him to on a date later that night, and the two continued to chat, kiss, and consider a future together.

Charity told cameras that Aaron was a pleasant surprise and she regretted sending him home, but when she handed out her two roses he was left empty-handed again. Aaron B.’s second departure was quick, but it wasn’t exactly a surprise, especially considering Bachelor in Paradise rumors have been swirling around him all month. If you want more Aaron on your screen, catch him at the beach when Paradise returns on Thursday, September 28.

Who Won The Bachelorette Season 20? Did Charity Lawson Get Engaged to Joey or Dotun?

Both Joey and Dotun met and fell in love with Charity’s father David, her mother Vickie, and her sister Mia. The introductions went well, but Charity’s family was leaning towards Team Joey, which left Charity more indecisive than ever. Conflicted because of her strong love for both men, Charity begged her family to offer some clarity, but ultimately, her mom stressed that the choice was hers.

After two sentimental final dates, both men met with the iconic Neil Lane, and Charity headed to a romantic proposal spot to break someone’s heart and hopefully get engaged.

When it came down to the wire, Charity shared an emotional goodbye with Joey, who comforted her and reminded her he’d always love her. “I thought I was getting down on one knee. I thought it was happening. I was certain. I had zero doubt. I wanted to leave here with Charity. It’s all I wanted,” he cried. “I want love. Bad… I just would ask the universe when…when is it gonna happen for me.”

After Joey drove away absolutely devastated, Charity fully broke down in tears. But when Dotun arrived, she was all smiles. “The kid on my immigration card would not believe where I am today,” Dotun said, gushing over Charity’s understanding and love for him. The two shared a hug and a few deep breaths before Dotun jumped into a truly precious proposal that took Charity down memory lane. She shared her love for him in a touching speech, he proposed, and she said yes! So yes! Charity left The Bachelorette engaged to Dotun. They got their fairytale after all.

Are Charity And Dotun Still Together?

Yes! Jesse Palmer welcomed them both to the stage during the live finale event and they talked about how thrilled they are that they can finally be together in public. Charity’s mom was in the audience and said she was “very happy” that Charity and Dotun found each other.

Was Reality Steve Right About Season 20 of The Bachelorette?

Prior to the Season 20 finale, Bachelor Nation’s favorite spoiler Reality Steve reported that Charity Lawson’s final two men were Joey and Dotun, and that she leaves the show engaged to Dotun.

“Took me almost 3 months, but I was finally able to find out what the result was back in Fiji. Any social media activity that people who want Joey to win want to conjure up in their heads is just guessing and speculation. She got engaged to Dotun in Fiji and they’ve been together ever since,” Reality Steve wrote in his July 26 post. “My whole goal every season is to get you the spoilers as soon as I can. Some seasons take longer than others… There’s no rhyme or reason to when I get my info. And just because the original Joey/Aaron info was wrong has no bearing on if the final spoiler is as well. Separate sources. Separate info. One has nothing to do with the other. I say it every season, but I hear things all throughout the season. But I don’t report what I hear until I can get it confirmed. Finally got it confirmed a couple days ago, so here it is. Yeah it took almost 3 months, but by golly, I got what I needed.”

The uncertainty throughout Charity’s finale kept Bachelor Nation on the edge of their seats, but in the end, Reality Steve’s intel was correct! Charity and Dotun got engaged and they’ve been together ever since!
