And Just Like That… a third season has been confirmed.

Kim Cattrall hasn’t even made her highly-anticipated cameo in the Sex and the City spinoff’s sophomore season yet and Max (formerly known as HBO Max) has already renewed the show for Season 3. Meanwhile, the Season 2 finale is only days away and is set to premiere Thursday (Aug. 24).

“We are thrilled to spend more time in the Sex and the City universe telling new stories about the lives of these relatable and aspirational characters played by these amazing actors,” showrunner Michael Patrick King said in a press release shared with Decider.

Sarah Aubrey, who is the head of original content at the streaming platform, revealed that And Just Like That currently ranks as the No. 1 Max original and is the most-watched Max original to date.

“As we approach the highly anticipated season finale on Thursday, we raise our cosmos to Michael Patrick King and his magnificent team of writers, producers, cast and crew who continue to charm us, 25 years later, with dynamic friendships and engaging stories,” she said in the release. “We cannot wait for audiences to see where Season 3 will take our favorite New Yorkers.”

The series brings back Sex and the City stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis as Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York, respectively. Not to mention, John Corbett has also reprised his role as Carrie’s ex-boyfriend Aidan Shaw in the most recent batch of episodes — where the former flames finally rekindle their romance following the death of Mr. Big (Chris Noth). However, it has yet to be seen what the future has in store for them as their differing lives prove to stand in the way of a smooth-sailing relationship.

Plus, it was revealed earlier this year that Cattrall would be popping in for a scene. The actress, who previously “retired” the role of Samantha Jones, is slated to appear in the Season 2 finale via phone call to honor the franchise’s 25th anniversary.

“The friendship is mended. They talked about it; you’ll see,” Parker previously told  The Hollywood Reporter. “The friendship [between Carrie and Samantha] is in good shape and I think by the time we get to that phone call that we share [in the finale], the portrait is clear of where they are and who they are.”

She added, “When we first started talking about this idea, it’s just such an opportune moment in the story and it was really a nod to the 25 years. It’s just a really sentimental, funny, sweet moment that is timed perfectly for a specific event that’s happening in Carrie’s life. It’s so familiar. So it’s really nice, I think.”

Now that we know the beloved series is forging on, we can only hope for more cosmos, more scenes of Charlotte under the influence and — depending on how the finale goes — more Aidan and Carrie romance!
