The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Because she’s busy teasing “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)”!
Six years to the date after Taylor Swift announced her sixth studio album, “Reputation,” Prime Video has unveiled a sneak peek at the singer’s re-recording of “Look What You Made You Made Me Do” in the trailer for its new original series, Wilderness.
“Look What You Made You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)” — which was originally released as the first single from the album back in 2017 — will officially appear as the opening title song for the new psychological thriller starring Jenna Coleman, Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Ashley Benson, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The show is set to follow married couple Liv (Coleman) and Will (Jackson-Cohen), who set out on a cross-country trip that soon takes a turn for the worse after Liv learns that her husband has been having an affair with Cara (Benson). According to the logline, she soon becomes the “actress starring in Will’s bad dreams” — referring to Swift’s iconic lyric from the song — after discovering his “betrayal.”
While they begin their road trip going through the Grand Canyon and Yosemite, they eventually land upon a “hedonistic” weekend in Las Vegas. The description reads, “For Will, it’s a chance to make amends; for Liv, it’s a very different prospect — a landscape where accidents happen all the time. The perfect place to get revenge.”

Wilderness is hardly the first show that’s debuted a new “Taylor’s Version” track. The musician decided to rerecord her masters four years ago after they were sold to (and by) her industry nemesis Scooter Braun — who has reportedly lost three of his biggest clients this week.
Since then, she has premiered “This Love (Taylor’s Version)” from “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” — which will be released on Oct. 27 — in the Season 1 trailer for The Summer I Turned Pretty. The Prime Video series also previewed “Back to December (Taylor’s Version)” from “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” prior to the album’s July release in the Season 2 trailer.
Plus, “Delicate (Taylor’s Version)” — another song from “Reputation” — played in Season 2, Episode 6 of The Summer I Turned Pretty. So it’s looking like those rumors claiming that “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” will be the next rerecording following “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” might not be too far-fetched!
In the meantime, you can catch “Look What You Made You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)” in Wilderness when it releases on Sept. 15 on Prime Video. Check out the full trailer above.
