After six weeks of love triangles, dumpings, voting, and kissing lessons for Bergie, Love Island USA Season 5 has come to a close. The season finale was an emotional 90-minute journey into the hearts of eight Islanders who had some summer lovin’ and ended up having way more than a blast. And with the grand finale of another season of Love Island USA comes a newly crowned couple — or, in the case of Season 5, four official couples, one of which also has $100,000 between them.

So, who won Love Island USA Season 5? Keep on reading to find out, which means obviously there are SPOILERS ahead!

Who won Love Island USA 2023?

The winners were chosen by audience vote and revealed after Sarah Hyland announced who came in fourth and third place. In fourth was Carmen and Kenzo; third place went to Bergie and Taylor; and second place went to [drumroll] Kassy and Leo. That means that the winners of Love Island USA Season 5 are Hannah and Marco.

Did Marco and Hannah keep the money?

Absolutely. Was there ever any question? Of course, these two were going to split the money. During the random choosing of envelopes, Marco ended up with $100,000 and Hannah ended up with $0. And then Marco chose to split the money with Hannah, thus confirming that he was at Love Island for the love and not the money.

Did the right couple win Love Island USA Season 5?

Yes, at least in my opinion. Hannah and Marco have been steadfast since they coupled up on Day 3. But they didn’t fade into the background, as drama-free couples can easily do on Love Island — especially when the Kay Kay/Keenan and Kassy/Leo drama was going down. Even though they were drama-free, they weren’t free of entertainment and screen time. Marco and Hannah were always there to lift other contestants up, offer moral support, and just generally be a rad couple in the midst of all the chaos. Plus they had sex in the communal bedroom in the middle of the day and enlisted Bergie to be their lookout. A+ television.

When does Love Island USA Season 6 come out on Peacock?

The next season of Love Island USA will likely air next summer, but there’s more Love Island on the way sooner than that. The premiere of Love Island Games, which will combine contestants from multiple Love Island series, will premiere on Peacock on November 1. It will be hosted by UK Love Island host Maya Jama, and feature Iain Stirling as narrator.
