Rumors have been circulating that Bravo is reportedly discussing a The Real Housewives of Atlanta reboot, which some allege could include a complete removal of the current cast.

However, a source close to the project told Decider that everything is just speculation at the moment and that no decisions have been made yet.

The speculations started with a report from LoveBScott published yesterday (Aug. 28), claiming sources close to the project revealed that “production made the call to recast the entire show at some point during the taping of the season 15 reunion.”

A source told Entertainment Tonight that “a major shakeup is coming to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

The source also noted that “before the women filmed their recent reunion” — Part 1 of which is slated to air at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 3 — “they were told that they should expect a big change with the franchise moving forward.”

However, a source revealed to Page Six that “nothing official has been decided,” and credited “fan feedback” of the original series for the recasting rumors.

While the outlet reported negative fan feedback on social media, with fans tweeting that the series “needs a recast” and that “Bravo needs to listen to fans before we tune out,” the total reboot rumors have incited critiques of the production team instead.

Fans in support of the current cast took to X (the platform formerly known as Twitter) writing that “a full reboot” is “not what we wanted” and “we need a PRODUCTION reboot! Production destroyed this season!”

According to Collider, the rumors also emerged after series star Kenya Moore has been vocal about much of her storyline being edited out of the most recent season, and shared a clip to X on Sunday (Aug. 27) highlighting her new hair spa that was cut from the show.

Season 15 of RHOA wrapped up on Sunday (Aug. 27), featuring Moore, Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, Drew Sidora, Sanya Richards-Ross, and Shereé Whitfield.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is streaming on Peacock.
