There are no signs of reconciliation between Jackass stars Steve-O and Bam Margera. After the latter went off the rails earlier this year — and even released a diss track about his old pal — Steve-O has revealed exactly where they stand today.

While speaking to Insider to promote his new partnership with Liquid Death, Steve-O said, “I lost contact with [Margera]. Haven’t heard from him at all. I think he changed his number, and that was that.”

It wasn’t always like this between the two men — both of whom helped kickstart the Jackass franchise more than two decades ago. In fact, they reunited for Steve-O’s Wild Ride podcast back in January, where they talked about Margera’s near-death experience with pneumonia. Shortly after, Steve-O invited his former co-star to open for him on his comedy tour.

However, things appeared to get murky when Steve-O commented on Margera’s since-deleted Instagram post in February.

“I brought you on tour with me in hopes that I could get you to see what’s possible for you if you choose recovery,” he wrote. “You’re dying, brother, and it sucks that I can’t do anything to save you.”

Margera — who has openly suffered from addiction — made numerous headlines in the coming months. Not long after getting a tattoo of his son’s name on his face, he was arrested for public intoxication in March. The next month, he turned himself into police when an arrest warrant was issued after he allegedly assaulted his brother and fled the scene.

In June, he threatened to “smoke crack” until he was dead if his estranged wife prevented him from seeing their five-year-old son. The video was posted to Instagram one week before he was reportedly placed under a 5150 hold.

After leaving a detox center early, Margera released a diss track aimed at Steve-O as well as Jackass co-creators Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine. In it, he calls Tremaine a “greedy, fat, fucking p–sy” and claims his former co-stars “ruined my fucking money makers” and “ruined what I love.” He even blasts Steve-O’s skateboarding style.

“I saw your rap song and gotta say, it wasn’t great. But the worst thing about it was you attacked my skateboarding,” Steve-O responded in an Instagram video, before adding, “Come on, dude. You gotta admit, I rip. And everyone’s gonna find out how much I rip right now when they watch this. Love you too, buddy.”
