Will There Be A ‘Selling The OC’ Season 3? Everything We Know

The Selling Sunset spinoff’s eight new episodes, which premiered on Netflix on September 8, were chock full of jaw-dropping Orange County properties, loads of inappropriate workplace conduct, delicious drama, and a slow-burn romance that culminated with a rom-com worthy declaration of love and a steamy makeout session in the final seconds of the season.

Like we said, once the end credits roll on Selling The OC Season 2, Episode 8, you’re be craving more new episodes ASAP. So will there be a Selling The OC Season 3? And if so, when will new episodes premiere?

Will There Be A Selling The OC Season 3 On Netflix?

Great news, Selling The OC fans! Netflix officially renewed the successful spinoff for a third season. Back in January 2023, Netflix announced that Selling The OC would be returning for Season 2 and Season 3, which means we haven’t seen the last of Alex Hall, Alexandra Jarvis, Alexandra Rose, Austin Victoria, Brandi Marshall, Gio Helou, Kayla Cardona, Polly Brindle, Tyler Stanaland, and new Season 2 hire, Ali Harper.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be returning to the OC for two more seasons,” executive producer Adam DiVello told Tudum. “Expect to see even more of what you already love about Selling the OC (from the real estate to the agents to the many unresolved issues) and get ready to go back to the beach!”

Again, if you’ve seen all of Selling The OC Season 2, you KNOW a Season 3 is absolutely necessary considering how we left things…but more on that in a bit.

When Will Selling The OC Season 3 Come Out On Netflix?

Though Selling The OC Season 3 is confirmed, we don’t yet have an official premiere date for the O Group’s next Orange County chapter. Selling The OC Season 1 premiered on August 24, 2022 and Season 2 premiered on September 8, 2023, so there’s a chance Netflix could hold Season 3 until late summer/early fall 2024. But with WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes ongoing, release schedules are constantly shifting, so if Season 3 is complete, we could hopefully be reuniting with The O Group’s OC cast even sooner.

How Many Episodes Are In Selling The OC Season 3?

There’s also no word on a Season 3 episode count, but considering Selling The OC Season 1 and Season 2 each consist of eight episodes, there’s a good chance eight more episodes could be on the way in Season 3.

It’s worth noting, however, that Selling Sunset began with eight-episode seasons and expanded to 10-episode and 11-episode seasons as it grew in popularity. So again, we’ll have to wait and see.

What Will Selling The OC Season 3 Be About?

While we’re waiting for Selling The OC to return, let’s chat about what Season 3 might have in store. More luxury real estate and more workplace drama are given. And we’d BETTER be picking up right — I mean RIGHT — where we left Alex Hall and Tyler Stanaland in that hot tub before further exploring their budding romance.

Other Season 2 highlights that will likely carry over into Season 3? The Alexandra Rose and Alexandra Jarvis feud, the team trying to sell Cabo, Gio, and Tiff expecting a baby, the Brandi/Kayla alliance, and Ali Harper’s journey to O Group real estate agent that may or may not lead to Gio strutting through the office in a bikini per their bet.
