Joy Behar probably shouldn’t hold her breath waiting for an invitation to the next Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve extravaganza. On this morning’s episode of The View, the longtime co-host shaded the iconic family’s intelligence, reducing them to “plastic surgery” and “big behinds.”

The comedian’s blunt statement came during a conversation about Kylie Jenner‘s rumored romance with actor Timothée Chalamet. After photos of the potential lovebirds schmoozing up to one another at the U.S. Open circulated on social media, many fans questioned what they could possibly have in common.

“We don’t know if they have anything in common. Like Whoopi [Goldberg] said, ‘Who cares?’” Sunny Hostin chimed in. “But I don’t like this implication that she isn’t as smart as he is and that’s why.”

She continued, “I’m sorry, she’s like a gazillionaire. Didn’t she start a company that’s worth around $700 million? I mean, she has more money than he has. His net worth is $25 million. So why is she considered the dumb one?”

While Behar said the “highfalutin” movies Chalamet stars in don’t necessarily make him “the great intellectual” either, she didn’t hold back when it came to how she views the Kar-Jenner clan.

“Kylie Jenner and the whole Kardashian family — they don’t have the vibe of being brilliant,” she said. “I’m sorry, they don’t. Whether it’s true or not, they don’t. All they care about is plastic surgery and their big behinds. It’s not like a big intellectual group of people.”

Meanwhile, Hostin reminded Behar that Kim Kardashian has done “exceptionally well in business,” while Alyssa Farah Griffin pointed out that she’s also in the process of getting her law degree.

Even Sara Haines — who previously questioned how much of Hulu’s The Kardashians is “real life” — jumped in to defend the family.

“Intelligence shows its way in different forms,” she said. “This guy is a great actor and [Kylie] has done really well in business.”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
