Beverly D’Angelo has Chevy Chase to thank for curing her stage fright.

The National Lampoon’s Vacation stars reunited for a nostalgia-inducing TikTok alongside co-star Christie Brinkley, that was shared today on Chase’s account.

While Brinkley starred in the first scene of the video, telling Chase over cocktails that she’s “in the mood for some fun,” D’Angelo and Chase — a.k.a. Ellen and Clark Griswold — star together in the majority of the TikTok, as Chase shows off his hypnotism skills.

The video shows D’Angelo lying down on a couch with her eyes closed, as Chase tells her to remain peaceful “until [he] snap[s his] fingers,” which will prompt her to wake up.

Once he snaps his fingers, D’Angelo wakes up, and exclaims, “oh, Chevy! That was fantastic.”

“Oh my god, I feel like I just went swimming or something,” she gushed. “Thank you.”

D’Angelo, now sitting next to Chase, then faces the camera and says they want to share something with their viewers.

“You know, what a lot of people don’t know is that Chevy is a very accomplished hypnotist,” she shares, eliciting a scoff from Chase.

“Don’t be modest,” D’Angelo continues, to which Chase replies, “you’re too kind.”

D’Angelo then delves into how when she first met Chase, she “had a little bit of stage fright,” which Chevy told her he could help her out with by “put[ting her] under.”

“And the next thing you knew, when I came out, I could memorize my lines like that. Remember?” she asks Chase, who confirms her recollection of the hypnosis.

“I was doing my own stunt work, I was driving a car, he (Chase) would just say, ‘you can do it!'” she recalled.

D’Angelo deems Chase’s hypnotism “amazing,” and believes that “it’s time [he] shared it with the world.”

“You know, I like to be private about those things,” Chase chimed in.

After D’Angelo once again commends him for his “great” work as a hypnotist, Chase puts her back down with a mystical hand motion.

The two pose with Brinkley for a close-up at the end of the video, which in Clark Griswold’s words, seemed like a true “quest for fun.”
