Chris Evans Thought He Had “Signed” His “Death Warrant” By Committing To ‘Captain America’: “I Was Worried About Making Sh**ty F***ing Movies”
Kenneth Branagh is back for the third time as Detective Hercule Poirot in A Haunting in Venice. The sequel to 2022’s Death on the Nile is set to release this week — and we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this highly anticipated new flick.
Based on the Agatha Christie’s 1969 novel Hallowe’en Party, A Haunting in Venice follows Hercule, now retired, as he attempts to solve the murder of a guest at a séance he attends. The movie also stars Kelly Reilly, Michelle Yeoh, Tina Fey and Jamie Dornan.
So, where can you watch A Haunting in Venice? Is it on Max? What about Netflix?
Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:
WHERE TO WATCH A HAUNTING IN VENICE:
As of now, the only way to watch A Haunting in Venice is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, Sept. 15. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon.
WHEN WILL A HAUNTING IN VENICE BE ON STREAMING?
Since A Haunting in Venice is being distributed by 20th Century Studios, it will eventually make its way to either Disney+ or Hulu. However, it’s more likely that it will stream on the latter since that’s where most of the company’s more adult content lands.
While a streaming release date has not yet been announced, we can make a guess based on Death on the Nile — which came to Hulu about 45 days after debuting in theaters. If A Haunting in Venice follows the same trajectory, you might be able to watch it from the comfort of your home by late October 2023.

WILL A HAUNTING IN VENICE BE ON MAX?
No, A Haunting in Venice will not be on Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. The platform — previously known as HBO Max — also no longer does direct-to-streaming releases. Instead, they’ve implemented a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the Max release.
WILL A HAUNTING IN VENICE BE ON NETFLIX?
No, A Haunting in Venice will not be on Netflix — at least not any time soon. While it’s possible the film may come to the streamer at some point in the future, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available on streaming.
