Following the loss of Billy Miller on Friday (Sept. 15), Suits creator Aaron Korsh took to X (the platform formerly known as Twitter) to honor Miller, who played Marcus Specter, brother of Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht).

“Very sad news for the entire #Suits family,” Korsh wrote on Sunday (Sept. 17). “Billy Miller has passed away.”

He continued, “I flew home once with Billy. We had a great time, bonding over the five hour flight, which seemed like it was over in minutes. A funny, smart, kind, gentle man.”

Macht also paid tribute to his “TV bro” on X on Monday (Sept. 18).

“I am touched by ur thoughtfulness, ur authentic honest approach 2 ur art, ur kind nature & big smile that Litt us all,” he shared. “May ur memory always be a blessing to ur Mother, ur Sister & her children. & 2 so many you’ve touched.”

Miller appeared in five episodes of Suits over the course of its nine-season run, per IMDb.

According to TVLine, Miller’s primetime appearances outside of daytime soap operas and Suits include CSI: NY, Justified, Major Crimes, Ray Donovan, and Ringer.

Many of Miller’s former co-stars he worked with throughout his career have mourned his loss, including his All My Children co-star and Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause.

“Still processing this,” Stause wrote in her Instagram story tribute. “Too many feelings but you are gone way too soon and I’m so happy I got to work with you all those years, but also call you a friend. I hope you are at peace now.”
