Paramount+ has become the latest platform to remove Russell Brand‘s work following the recently published accusations of sexual assault made against the comedian.

Deadline reports the streamer removed Brand’s 2009 comedy special, Russell Brand In New York, at some point within the last 24 hours.

Paramount+ promptly followed Channel 4 and BBC, which have both removed television programs and audio shows starring Brand. YouTube also removed his ability to monetize his account “following serious allegations against the creator,” according to NBC News.

A joint investigation from The Times of London, The Sunday Times of London, and the British television program Dispatches released over the weekend detailed serious accusations of rape and sexual assault from four women, including one who was 16 years old at the time, against Brand. The Times reported “several women” have come forward since the investigation was published.

Brand has also been let go from his management company, Tavistock Wood, which said in a statement, “Russell Brand categorically and vehemently denied the allegation made in 2020, but we now believe we were horribly misled by him.”

In the aftermath of the investigation, other questionable moments from the comedian’s career have resurfaced, including why he was let go from Comedy Central’s Roast Battle in 2018, and an uncomfortable moment with performer Katharine McPhee on Tonight Show.

Roast Battle was reportedly his last known job on television. He has since forged a new career in conservative right-wing media.

Brand recently postponed the remainder of his U.K comedy tour.

For now, it appears that Brand’s most recent comedy special Russell Brand Re:Birth is still streaming on Netflix.

As Deadline reports, the platform does not have a history of removing content over backlash such as this.
