A new Fire TV has entered the chat; this time, it has nothing to do with watching TV.

The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar ($120) is now available to purchase, and it makes the perfect pair with any Fire TV, whether it’s a TV itself or a streaming stick.

The Fire TV Soundbar is a 2.0 channel soundbar with built-in DTS:X Virtual Audio and Dolby Audio.

Those premium sound formats, alongside two speakers, help create immersive 3D surround sound with impressive depth and detail.

Amazon also notes the compact soundbar is easy to set up — all you have to do is plug the included HDMI cord into the TV’s HDMI eARC or ARC port. In addition to the HDMI connectivity, it’s Bluetooth enabled to stream music or podcasts from your phone directly through the soundbar. And at 24 inches long and just 2.5 inches tall, it’ll fit pretty much anywhere you envision it going.

Despite having Fire TV in the name, this soundbar doesn’t feature any streaming connectivity (the way the Roku Streambar does, for example), so if you want to stream shows from your favorite streaming services, you’ll need at the very least a Fire TV streaming stick or a Smart TV.

The Fire TV Soundbar also isn’t Alexa-enabled, so it doesn’t work on voice commands like the Fire TV Cube. However, you can shop a bundle that includes the Fire TV Soundbar and Alexa Voice Remote Pro for $155. The remote comes with hands-free voice control, so you’ll be able to call out commands to launch streaming services or play movies on Prime Video without having to touch a button.
