Ice Spice Spills The Tea (Or Rather, Coffee) On Working With Ben Affleck On Their Recent Dunkin’ Commercial: “I Just Felt Very Secure Working With Him”

Ice Spice opened up about her experience working with her fellow famous Dunkin’ drinker, Ben Affleck.

Following her recent collab with the two-time Oscar-winning actor on a Dunkin’ commercial that aired during last month’s VMAs, the rapper told Variety in a TikTok that Affleck “is a very, very comforting person to be directed by.”

“He’s just been in it for so long, that like, I just felt very secure working with him,” Ice Spice said. “He made me feel comfortable and just guided it well.”

She also noted that Affleck — who has portrayed the DC figure Bruce Wayne and his superhero alter ego, Batman, in five different films beginning with 2016’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice — “had his Batman figure or whatever in his office, and that was fire.”

Affleck’s work with Dunkin’ began in his 2023 Super Bowl spot, which he starred in with his wife, Jennifer Lopez. His recent commercial saw him promoted to “brand ambassador,” which he did not take lightly.

The new Ice Spice Munchkin Drink combines pumpkin munchkins and frozen coffee for a “fun” and “delicious” seasonal sip that’s “not your ordinary pumpkin drink,” according to Dunkin’.

Prior to the commercial’s debut, Dunkin’ and Ice Spice took to Instagram to tease the new drink to the rapper’s fans — who just so happen to be called munchkins — with a picture of a pumpkin munchkin donning her iconic “Princess” necklace.

“Putting the ice in pumpkin spice,” the caption read.
