Disgraced Warner Bros. producer Andrew Kreisberg was arrested and charged with forcible touching following an incident that allegedly occurred at a bar mitzvah in 2022.

According to documents obtained by Vanity Fair, a woman claimed she was assaulted by Kreisberg at the event, which took place in Westchester County, New York. The unnamed woman said she knew Kreisberg because she was friends with his wife. She claims he approached her while she was standing at a table and started “putting his hands all over my arms and back.”

“He then slid his hands around my waist, grabbed my waist firmly, and thrust his fully erect penis into my buttocks twice,” she described.

Her testimony continued, “It all happened so fast that I wasn’t sure what exactly was going on until I felt Andrew shove his fully erect penis into my buttocks. When I realized what was going on, I screamed, ‘What the fuck are you doing? Get the fuck away from me.’”

Another individual who was also present at the party said the woman was an “emotional wreck” and had clearly been “struggling” after the incident.

The woman told the police that she came forward because Kreisberg “needs to have someone stand up for themselves against him.”

Kreisberg voluntarily surrendered to the police on March 23, and was arraigned that same day, according to Entertainment Weekly. He was charged with misdemeanor forcible touching.

A statement obtained by Vanity Fair from Kreisberg’s attorney, Stacey Richman, claims her client is “misunderstood for being a neurodivergent individual who is socially awkward,” and called these accusations “another event of the ableist bullying of people who are neurodivergent.”

Kreisberg was later granted an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal, which will allow the charge to be dismissed and the record sealed if he complies with the court’s conditions, which include psychiatric therapy. If he does not comply, the case will be reevaluated.

Kreisberg was suspended from The Flash in 2017 after he was accused of sexual harassment by 19 colleagues, per EW. He was reportedly one of the top producers working on CW/DC series like Supergirl, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

He has since denied the allegations.

“Like many people, I have given someone a non-sexual hug or kiss on the cheek,” he told Variety in 2017. “I have proudly mentored both male and female colleagues for many years. But never in what I believe to be an unwanted way and certainly never in a sexual way.”
