If you are a man who got stood up at a Los Angeles mall in the mid-1990s, there’s something you might want to know. On the most recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian reflect on their rebellious teenage years — and one particularly interesting pastime they shared.

It all starts when Khloé Kardashian tours the future space for her Good American store, which also happens to be in the same mall she grew up shopping in. The star recalls her harrowing experience getting her ears pierced there as a child — which led to her never getting another piercing again — before revealing what her older sisters used to do at the mall.

“This mall has been around for years,” she says. “You should ask Kourtney and Kim. They used to call 1-800 numbers and ask gentlemen to meet them here.”

The show then flashes to Kim’s confessional, where she confirms their menacing antics.

“We would talk to these guys. We would be, like, 15. They would be like, ‘OK, yeah. Meet me at Blockbuster at the mall,'” she says. “And we’d see the poor guy and we’d stand him up and we’d take a Polaroid and we’d have a book of Polaroids of these guys that we would stand up at the mall.”

The Skims founder even calls Kourtney to see if she remembers the number for the hotline. Of course, Kourtney says she knows the number “by heart” and proceeds to recite it, prompting Kim to call it on camera.

“Hi, this is Samantha. What’s your name?” Kim asks in a seductive voice, to which the mystery man on the other end of the phone replies, “My name’s Chris.”

The reality star tries to keep up her ruse but only makes it so far before she gets nervous and quickly hangs up the phone.

“I’ve gotta save that number in my phone,” she concludes.
